The Bose L1 compact - A Compact, Portable, Pa Powerhouse

The Bose L1 ageement is an very portable, yet very flexible Pa system. The Bose L1 ageement also delivers crisp, clean, definite Bose sound. I purchased two L1 Compacts last year and have been very pleased with my purchase. I've been an amateur musician for nearly twenty-five years and have had tons of caress with numerous Pa systems. I've owned at least five cut off systems over the years together with tool from Eaw, Tascam, Mackie, Hafler, Electrovoice and Jbl. I must say that the Bose L1 ageement is my popular Pa theory of any of the systems that I've ever owned.

In my teens and early twenties I played in any separate rock n' roll bands and all the time owned my own Pa theory for use with the bands that I played with. I was (and still am for that matter) the lead singer in each band and found that the Pa theory was very foremost to my performance. Most of the systems that I owned during these years were very excellent and had to be so to amplify my vocals over the drums and blaring guitars. In my mid to late twenties I began to play mostly acoustic music (just myself on guitar with my vocal). I also began dabbling in karaoke and Dj gigs to help make ends meet. This prolonged into my thirties and I found myself playing music with my twelve year-old daughter last year. The theory I'd used for the six years prior was a somewhat ageement theory made up of Electrovoice mains and subs, a rack full of tool together with and Tascam digital board, Hafler power amp, a Dbx Driverack Pa, rack mounted computer, and discrete effects. While being somewhat compact, this theory was still bulky adequate to fill my small Suv to the brim and test my back each time I moved the theory for performances. It was time for a change. It had come to the point that I would unquestionably dread performances, karaoke shows and the like, because I just flat out didn't want to move my equipment. I began to look for more ageement Pa systems and stumbled across the Bose L1 Compact. After particular recap of numerous systems I devised a plan to sell my current Pa theory and purchase the most ageement theory I could possibly assemble. The theory consists of two Bose L1 Compacts, an Alesis Multimix Usb 2.0, 8 channel mixing board, microphones and a laptop (for digital music, karaoke, recording,etc...). This theory sets up in a flash, is very lightweight, and most importantly sounds wonderful!

Bose In Ear Phones

The biggest factors in my selection of the Bose L1 ageement were it's size, flexibility and sound. I use this theory for live acoustic performances, karaoke, monitoring during video recording, and dj use. The Bose L1 ageement weighs less than thirty pounds and can be carried in one trip (two Bose L1 Compacts want two trips). As far as flexibility is concerned, a particular Bose L1 ageement can be setup in three separate positions depending on the use: a very ageement setup for small rooms and meetings, a mid-height setup for setting the unit on a table or stage while still holding the line array speakers at head height, and a full height setup where the base unit sets on the floor and the line array speaker is elevated just above head height. With the purchase of a second L1 Compact, I've maximized the flexibility of the theory and can now use two units in a stereo pair for larger venues and crowds of up to 300 people. The high flexibility of this theory also lets me plainly take one L1 Compact for smaller venues for acoustic or karaoke performances. Each L1 Compact contains two channels of input for a microphone, acoustic guitar, and a pc, dvd player, or even an iPod or iPhone.

The sound of the Bose L1 ageement is plainly wonderful (especially with two of them). I have unquestionably no question with feedback and can also use the theory as my monitor system. In fact, the Bose L1 ageement is meant to be both mains and monitor system. I plainly set up the theory just behind and to the side of me and I have a feedback free setup that I use for both my mains and my monitors. This was a huge selling point for me because my daughter is now performing with me and I know how difficult it can be to sing without hearing yourself (done that many, many times over the years). I can now setup up for a operation with my daughter in about fifteen minutes and we could not be any happier with our sound. In fact, I still get compliments on the sound at just about every performance.

In conclusion, I very advise the Bose L1 Compact. I believe it is the most flexible, best sounding, ageement Pa theory on the market. One word of warning, I do not advise using this theory with a full fledged rock n' roll band. I've tried it and unless you have an experienced, quiet drummer, this theory is not adequate for this use. This theory is, however, exquisite for acoustic performance, dj use, and karaoke use. I hope you'll think the Bose L1 ageement for your next purchase.

The sound insulation works quite well (if you have phones that are in the ears). You can get a good seal, which greatly reduces the amount of surface noise that may come in. I found that works very well on planes and in the gym (the two I ordinarily noisy environments).

In contrast, "background noise" headphones do not block surface noise, rather than adding an electronic noise designed to cancel the frequencies of the noise outside. They require batteries, and I do not believe you to add sound to your hearing. Some work great than others, but none that I have tried (including the illustrious and expensive Bose Qc2s) work and the line-Shure Sound Isolating Earphones (Se530 is the second pair, I am in this line).

With headphones that sit inside the ear canal, the relieve is very important. I think Se530s favorably for long periods. I ordinarily listen to my ipod in bed at night to relax, if I fall asleep with headphones in my ears do not hurt when I wake up later (unlike all other earphones and headphones I've tried). Shure thoughtfully includes 9 pairs interchangeable tips of distinct sizes, so it is very likely that most habitancy find at least one pair that is comfortable for them.

The capability of construction is exceptional. The strings are thicker than any other headphones / earphones I've seen, and where they attach to the earphones or accessories is much stronger.

I also have a pair much less noise Isolating Earphones The Shure E2C's. A week or two before the 2-year warranty expires, developed a short cable that goes to a page, so that if the cable jiggled at all, the sound that periodically go out for a second or two. That was my fault - I was using and abusing these things pretty hard - not included with the case, throwing them around, etc. But I sent a Shure with a copy of my receipt for warranty service, and that I was sent a new couple, no questions! (and excuse fast!) The Se530s (and all Shure earphones) has the same 2-year warranty.

In conclusion, I like Shure Se530 predicted sound quality, exquisite construction capability and generous box of thoughtful enhancements.

But now my qualifications:

In order to know whether this is of course a value of money, you should of course correlate to the Se420's (the next cheapest model in this line, a hundred less than 530s). Most of us who are just rave about Se530s them much more favorable than headphones. In my case, Shure E2C's (about a hundred dollars) and a pair of Sennheiser cans (about half the price of the Se530). simply 530s will blow away the phones that are half price or less.

But what we of course know before spending our hard-earned U.S. Dollars, where the human ear can distinguish between the Se530 and Se420's. Otherwise, there would be a supplementary waste of hundreds of dollars buying 530s.

Before buying, I searched for a good, objective by comparing the 420s and 530s. I have not found one from an objective source and reputation. So I had to make a choice between two risks: the risk of spending too much (to buy 530s when the 420s sound as good) than the risk of not obtaining the best potential capability of sound (to save money buying 420s when the 530s of course better).

I decided to avoid the second risk is more foremost to me that to avoid the risk of first, so I chose the 530s. I was very well able to provide them. In my current situation (newly married, still paying for the engagement ring and the honeymoon - but very happy!), I am not sure I still pick the 530s (although I still want to male).
